  1. Yeah. Email or call them. Like they could really care less if you like it or not. It is going to take a lot more than that to get rid of these traitors. But, now at least you know who they are.

  8. Thanks for the link, Anonymous. To be clear, this vote was on the Udall Amendment to the overall bill, which would have stricken the "idefinite detention" language and replaced it with "further study".

This is probably where the confusion lies about the voting for/against issue. Yes, AZBeer, the above Senators did vote "nay" on the amendment, which is a vote "for" indefinite detention.

Some semantical confusion yes, but ultimately the same result. The above Senators care nothing of your rights as citizens, or human beings for that matter. They should all be voted out. Or ran out in shame before any vote, preferably.

  9. Every one of these senators should be thrown out of office!! ANYONE that takes away freedom from Americans should be thrown out after being tried for treason.

  10. 43 Republican Senators vote against this amendment - that is why I am not really a member of the Republican party (all though I am registered as such). The vast majority of Republicans in Congress have a similar mindset. This is truly shameful

  11. AZBeer the vote you are talking about was for the Udall amendment, your statemment that the bill was killed on the Senate floor is not accurate - the vote for the full bill has not taken place yet.

  12. When Mr. Newt said that he would like to increase provisions of the Patriot Act to keep us all even "SAFER", (I'm paraphrasing), the hair stood up on my neck & arms.

If the best that the Tea Party can come up with is somebody who will not repeal the illegal & invasive Patriot Act,... then I might have stumbled through a worm hole into an alternate dimension where sane is crazy & crazy is sane.

Folks who want to fire Mr. Obama: Newt is not the answer.

    Repeat:
    Newt is not the answer.

P.S. Has anyone ever personally known anyone named Newt, Barack, or Mitt?
(Seems like an extended Sesame St. episode)
