SOPA: Not Just Spanish for "Soup" Anymore

As supporters of liberty on every level, I feel it's our duty to point out what is happening with SOPA, the "Stop Online Piracy" Act. This act will give unprecedented powers to the government to seize any website for "piracy", the definition of which is quite vague and quite subjective.



I encourage anyone regardless of political or philosophical beliefs to look further into this act and the implications it could have on freedom of speech for all of us. With a corrupt mainstream media and government control of airwaves, the internet is the last true bastion for free speech that we have, and it's absolutely vital that we keep it as free and open source as possible.
